We really hope that Earl will just go away. Unfortunately, the news tonight seems to be bringing it a little more westward, right at us. We are as prepared as is possible.
We have food, water, pet food and supplies, medications and all to last us at least a week or so. Chris and Jessica may come up and stay with us if things get too crazy.
They live down on the waterfront in Bath....and that looks like it may take an ugly hit, but who knows? When I got home from work today, the weather reports made it sound like it was going to stay far enough east that we might not get much more than rain and a little wind. Now its heading more inland and has intensified to a category 4 again....my guess is that we won't know until it gets here. To all my friends and family out here in eastern NC, good luck. Stay safe. And keep in touch so we know that everybody is alright.
